maybe your on to something by calling WEBRES....my experiences have been that the fare doesn't exist even though it is showing up for days on-line. I have called in numerous times to demonstrate that the fare is still showing.....CSR says apparently just a fathom fare and not available at that price or award level or routing. When you can book, you should, then take advantage of the "customer first" policy. Too many times I have missed a bookable fare. Then you must double check your CC for credit if you cancel. In the last three years, I have had five tickets cancelled but not credited and I did not notice until I was doing my taxes. Luckily I print and save cancellations in a separate folder.
