I rank BNZ's Advantage Platinum Visa (post-GlobalPlus) the best cashback card out there. $1 per $75 spend, credited immediately after you get the monthly bill (statement credit, in Amex lingo). Much better than ANZ's annual points conversion non-sense (at 1%; 33% worse than BNZ), and the funny money that is Airpoints and overpriced rewards offered by the banks' own programs, like ASB True Ripoffs and Westpac's Notpoints.
Annual fee of $150 is worth it for the travel insurance alone. Lower forex conversion at 2.25%, vs 2.50% by ANZ and Westpac (Kiwibank at 1.95% I think).
I put Fly Buy's value at 1 Fly Buys point = NZ$0.185, based on the redemption value to BNZ Kiwisaver (108 Fly Buys points = NZ$20), the closest cash equivalent.
