My wife agrees. The companion status match is very desirable and a very stress-reducing feature of the program. I was just noting the difference between the primary and the companion status. I have read other blogs where this difference came as a surprise to some new Million-milers.
When I hit 2.7M a couple of years ago my wife started looking for some extra mileage runs for us to get that 1K for life. She was absolutely more excited than I was. Now near 3.3M and she is dreaming again.
