I know that people sometimes book 2 seats in the same class for musical instruments and other reasons. Do you think that it's possible in 2 different classes?
Welcome to Flyertalk matt_likes and welcome to the BA forum. It's good to see you here, and it would be even better if you continued to participate here, so welcome on board.

The nearest I can think of is to use your CW tickets and then throw away the WT tickets, which strikes me as a shocking waste, but it can't be said your company is any worse off. You won't get TPs and Avios from the seat you are not sat in.

Given your position, and the fact it's a higher priced Y ticket, I would look to either pay the fare difference at the airport or an AUP (see Dashboard) if there is a special price for the route, which may be cheaper than a full CW ticket and will give you the higher TP/Avios. BLR is a good route for this, it's often oversold in WT. Or upgrade with Avios to WTP (no extra TPs for that) which can be done on some corporate bookings. I agree it's a strange policy, but I guess it's a company that has a number of people flying 1 or 2 a year on the one hand, and a lot of people who do more than that and who could start to refuse to fly / jump ship after the 3rd longhaul.
