I'm sitting in the lounge in NBO after coming off of a JNB-NBO flight on a 787. As the previous reply stated it is fine, a bit cramped at a 2-2-2 layout but for four hours it was fine. The service was adequate but after one round with the lunch, the service was over and if you wanted something, you had to go find someone (I found two FAs asleep, not sure that is acceptable on a flight not even four hours long). Also, the IFE was just OK with no update from what they had last month.

With that said, the local papers are saying the pilot union has put KQ on notice they plan to strike on 18 October due to the poor management of the airline.

My opinion, go with QR or fly KLM down.
