I am in a similiar scenario. In August I resigned from my previous employer to move to another company in the same industry. I gave my 2 weeks on a Friday and had travel booked for the following week.
Nature of my industry, the day I gave notices was my last day of active employment. I had to cancel travel booked for the following week. Of course, that ticket's value is in my name and my former employer can't use it for someone else. Do I let it expire unused? Is it mine to use?
