TAP Portugal Flight Price Tracking
Hey All- I am wondering if anyone has experience with tracking flights from TAP Portugal. I was planning to fly from NY to Lisbon around new years. I booked my flight in mid-Sept for $826 (basic economy both ways) and my friend still needs to book. Right after I bought my ticket the price went from mid-$800's to over $1000. It seems I booked the last "Basic" Economy ticket as now it says "sold out".
I've been tracking the price for 2-3 weeks now and the flight has gone from $1077 to $1132 and has stayed at $1132 or over a week. TAP had a sale, but my dates were blacked out.
So my questions:
Has anyone ever seen a Basic Fare become available again on TAP after being sold out?
Has anyone ever seen a price go down significantly for a Classic Fare?
I am just trying to figure out if I should bite the bullet and book or if I should wait.
any experience or opinions would be appreciated, thanks!
