Here to report back. The higher luggage limit is applied without me asking anything, actually, the system allowed automatically without the check in agent doing any manual calculation.

Got 5 piece of luggage totalling 63kg checked in. KA agent does mention after 15th Oct the piece system will be enforced... and to remind me not to bring that many piece..
