I've been curious about Iceland for a long time. I remember seeing a documentary about Bjork and they showed a lot of Iceland in the background. Seems like an interesting place. Any place that's cold with volcanos sounds interesting to me.

The culture sounds interesting too. I've heard that the written language hasn't changed much since the Sagas were written and that they have birth records going back nearly a thousand years. Don't know how true that is.
