October 2016, two stays.
Not much has changed here, same single pain

windows, all kings face busy and very noisy highway, lots of noise from the lobby area if you are in the vicinity and on some weekends the other section can be noisy if the indoor center pool is in use. The translucent curtains over those windows are full of holes and tears. The standard HGI blackout curtains are insufficient for road noise. The non-standard alarm clock is difficult to figure out.
Service is quite variable and depends on each individual's previous training and work ethic, from what I can see. As previously, it's a crap shoot whether one gets full service items - one time no wash cloths, next time no decaf, etc.
They do offer an airport shuttle through 11 am.
WiFi is AT&T and in the 322-23 area is atrocious at best - variable no to two bars (43 ms Ping, 1.92 Mbps down, 0.40 Mbps down when I had it) with frequent dropouts and no WiFi at all.
On my first stay I had a nice note from the FDM, with a fruit plate and waters in the fridge (but by morning when I wanted it, the fruit had frozen), and a packet of Romano biscuits. A survey earned 500 points on turning it in at the desk.
No noticeable changes since 2009. Nothing remarkable here, and one needs to select a room carefully if at all noise sensitive. I stay on price and for convenience.
