I don't believe the limited targeting of Samsung 7 models will work.

There are some large regions in the world where Samsung is no. 1. Those regions are known for their mobile phone culture. This spills over into the airplane where people don't follow the safety regs on phones and just keep on yacking. I used to consider the mainland Chinese air cariers despotic tyrants for forcing the closed phone policy, but then I saw that they were actually smart about the issue as no one would follow the rules otherwise. Are people going to follow the rules and turn off their Samsung or do we end up with the more effective Chinese strategy, which actually works, but is a one size fits all strategy.

2) Ok, so the phone is off. The batteries still have issues don't they? Just because the switch is off, doesn't necessarily mean the connection is cut.
