Why would you get into an argument with a gate screener?? Do you think that person is in charge of the whole system and could change whatever procedures they were following?? Overall, these TSA people are quite courteous and trying to insult or intimidate them will only cause them to become hardened and less polite, as so many other people in customer service positions become after putting up with attitudes like this over a period of time. If you have a complaint about the procedures, address them to your Congressional representative or to TSA headquarters.
No one forced these people to take a job with the TSA that involves un-American harassment of their fellow citizens and guests in the country. In my opinion, any TSA agent who engages in this un-American activity should hear it from each person they harass. Perhaps it will motivate them to pass the passengers' unhappiness up the line, or better yet, quit
en masse, forcing the TSA management to rethink these asinine policies of harassment.
