As has been alluded to earlier in this thread, there is not comfortable seat on this plane. If you're travelling alone, I HIGHLY suggest getting a seat on the "A" side of the plane. This is the side with only one seat on it. If you have status or can somehow pull it off, get seats 1A, 3D, 3F, 12A, 12D, or 12F. If you can't get any of these, get a seat as far forward as possible. I was talking to an ERJ pilot the other day while we were waiting for the plane to get in, and he was saying that his seat is quite comfortable, but he'd shoot himself if he had to spend more than an hour and a half in one of our seats. I kind of agree, and fortunately, US doesn't fly any of these much beyond that time. I every once in a while take these from DCA-TYS or DCA-IND. I try to avoid them like the plauge, but sometimes, that's how it works out.
