Actually, I have rented pickup trucks at KOA with my free days. Not sure the class off the top of my head. They were small/midsize pickups (Nissan Frontier). I cannot speak for reserving fullsize pickups, although I have taken a couple of F150's and a Ram 1500 off the executive aisle in the past.

Edited to add: I just tried a test reservation of a full-size pickup at ELP (shows RAM 1500 quad cab or similar). It took the full value minus $6.54 in fees - so you definitely can rent a full-size pickup on free days as an exec elite.
