I've sat all over the place in 744s and have had a few experiences. On the main deck of a BA one, there seems to be an annoying pump (high pitched whirl) that is irritating.

Didn't know that NZ's upper deck toilets are in the rear. I thought they were in the front of 744s.

It'll still be a treat for my friend as it's the first time for her in an international premium cabin.

BTW, my usual is a CP 744 that has 65" pitch so anything less is restrictive.
