BA - MIA to LHR on 8th October.

My wife and I were in First. We are both not the best flyers although much better since we started with points collection 5 years ago.

We both found the flight reasonably smooth. Seat belt sign was on for only 30 mins and even when this was on we found it was just mild turbulence.

Our friends were in row 1 in upper deck in Business. They both said it was very bumpy. They are either the same as us or better flyers.

Any view on this if there is a difference in the ride between main deck in First or upper deck in Business?

Also, we had a cruise and were off the ship at 10.00m with the flight at 8.45 pm. We went to Miami airport with the expectation that we would have to pay for luggage storage. As BA check in was close I went to the BA desk and incredibly there were two BA staff and we were able to check our bags in with BA at 11.30 am and go elsewhere for the day. Nice to give a compliment to BA for this service for a change!!
