I will just mention that getting an exit aisle/window seat in WT (by paying reservation price) is as good as WT+ in my mind (and preferable to a middle WT+ seat). Also the J class main dish is a joke. When I get it, I think this is a £4.99 dish at a local pub and think of the poor people who paid a £thousands and get that.

Lounge access while connecting at LHR is also worthwhile after the long first segment and there is a paid lounge avaialble.

I fly WT+ more often now for a differnt reason it gives 1.5EQMs while WT gives 0.5EQMs. Your flight to TLV and back would net you in WT+ aprox 22K EQMs, not sure what is going on at AA these days with challenges (head to AA forum) but it could be very helpful to get Platinum possibly.
