Nothing against the Aussies who too are very nice but the Kiwi's are very just that wee bit more friendlier. Having toured twice in NZ (latest being March this year) they are very welcoming, friendly and wanting to know where you're from/what your trip plans are.
No offence taken - I'd tend to agree with you.

Thanks paulISt. I'll freely admit that as a kiwi I'm biased but I really like air Nz. It helps that it is the only J class that I have experienced. My only gripe is that the herringbone seats require you to be more than double jointed to get a comfortable look out of the window.
I quite like them too so it was a little disappointing that I couldn't have been more positive about the hard product. Absolutely, it's really difficult to see out the windows and I'm a fairly flexible thin guy. It seems odd that they went with a herringbone layout since other airlines are moving away from it.
