Cash only. I'm not sure if they sell them at the airport (apart from the Airport Express stations), but getting one at a subway station would surely be easier than than hunting an airport vendor down. Unlike Octopus, they can only be used for transportation. Also unlike Octopus, some taxis accept them, but I certainly don't bank on this.
