Is the food service pretty much the same or are there any other perks?

Early boarding compared to WT?

Another off topic question, is Avios awarded only after the flight is complete?

Thanks so much for the insight!
There is no right or wrong answer to your 1st question.

I'll answer the others then come back to the 1st.

Food service is from Club for the main course.

Boarding is the same time as WT.

Avios only after the flight usually within a couple of days.

So back to the 1st question. Yes there is a higher level of comfort than for WT, the seats are a little wider, legroom a bit more & recline a bit more. The space around you is a little more all round. You get the feel of something better also from the smaller cabin, rather than having rows of WT seats spread out in front or behind you.

As for if it's worth it....depends what you pay as a premium from WT. WTP pricing varies from the very reasonable as mark up from WT (#100-#150) to the totally ridiculous (+#1000). For an extra 100-150 it's good value....for 1000 it's a piss take.

It's not half way to Club, it's more like 25% of the way to Club
