Apparently so. I also would have taken the advice of others and done some basic research, in which case I probably would've come to the realization that for the equivalent of what you'd apparently be willing to spend at places like Nonochome (among others) you could get way better sushi omakase at home in NYC than you'll find at Sushiyuu, which is somewhat of an anomaly in context of this whole thread. Even a basic search on Tablelog, as suggested, could have yielded dozens of better options. Anyhow, enjoy your trip.

Edited to add that I normally wouldn't post a derisive or critical comment like this, but it's kind of absurd how you came into this forum seeking advice on 3-star Michelin tables one week out from your travel dates, only to be kindly informed of unrealistic expectations and instead offered numerous suggestions for approaching your request from a different perspective, to which you were brashly dismissive and quite rude. You behaved as if you were somehow entitled to information and services shared on this forum (generally out of kindness and courtesy; not obligation) which are usually received with gratitude. You confidently claimed to have no concern for securing dining reservations at some of the most difficult and requested restaurants in the city (the notion that Saito would be a dependable reservation had you planned months ago is laughable), only to end up at a small residential neighborhood spot in Nishi Azabu. As Pickles mentioned, it's actually quite a good/economical choice for someone who's unfamiliar with sushi and/or more comfortable with an itamae who's fluent in English. It's a friendly place to foreigners and perhaps a recommendation that might've even been proposed had you respectfully offered the most basic of information in order to accommodate your initial request. It's completely absurd that one would go from Saito and Yoshitake to Sushiyuu however. Perhaps now you can appreciate why context matters.
