The Hilton in Osaka gave little bottles of Shiseido Auslese Hair Tonic.

It seemed sticky, so I used it on my hair, not my scalp. Agree that most "hair tonic" is marketed as protective against hair loss; however, in my experience that liquid would seem uncomfortable on the scalp, and made for a good styling product. It had a kind of invisible hold and was most similar to hair spray, but less offensive. Maybe I was using it "wrong", but now I'm curious about the "Hair liquid".
