Bag drop is as it has been in recent years - if bags are through checked then drop off, go out and now turn right and head to the new security.
If not through checked you may be able to check in and deposit your bags at the bag drop (there are counters), otherwise it's off to T4 landside ...

BA used to interline the bags, so they were checked through to the final destination. But if on separate PNRs , they dont anymore.
So fingers crossed the bag drop counters at TBIT for connections, will tag the bags for our AA flight to LAS, if we check in online with AA before leaving London.
Just trying to avoid having to walk with the bags and go bag drop/checkin and then though the security at T4.
