AA provide seat selection as part of the fare, BA chooses to charge (for non-status passengers).

It is not a claim that the AA J TATL product is better, it is reality 4 across on AA, versus BA's 8 (UD excepted, of course). AA is striving to improve its product, and BA is striving to destroy theirs.

Enjoy your AA flight(s) - you will likely be using them more than BA for crossing the Atlantic for your future trips
