Yes, it should make the transfer - provided you are not delayed too much from GLA. I regularly do 1hr transfers (normally without baggage, however) and I make the connections fine. During this summer, BA' reliability was a disgrace but have managed to get back on track recently which is good.

Your bag will be tagged through, provided you are on a single booking GLA-LHR-DFW. The GLA ground team are normally excellent.
