I have referred BA to these boards and in particular to a few threads via DM on their twitter feed. They are aware of this board among others of course.

Much of the BAshing is unstrategic and it's such a depressing place to come lately, I don't look in as often.

What are people trying to achieve by having so many threads devoted to BAshing? Do they think it will change anything?

If I were an outsider, I would treat this forum as a whingefest and not treat it all that seriously. Discussions are regularly over negative and unbalanced, and any excuse to BAsh is taken with alacrity. It never used to be like that. People in this forum used to be known for humour, and yes going off the subject occasionally.

The negativity permeates through nearly every thread to the point where I don't much feel like reading many of them. Even threads about positive things have turned into a BAshfest (new crockery thread is an example)

This board needs to work out what it wants. Does it just want to have a good whinge, but ultimately change little or nothing? To be seen by BA as such and therefore not take anything that is said in it with any real degree of seriousness?

If a company feels that it is going to be an uphill struggle to please a group of people, guess what they will do? They will stop trying and ignore that group of people entirely.

If you want to change the culture at BA you need to be more organised and be systematic and strategic. If the whole first two pages read like a whingefest, how many BA managers do you think will actually bother to read it. It would be a big round number.

The penny pinching should stop, of course it should, but if this place sounds like a specialist Mother's Union where people meet to whinge, then it will have no influence whatsoever. You have to give people the incentive to want to change your view. Even in medieval battles there was a temporary truce while the belligerents would work out whether it was worth the battle or not.

Rant Over...
Sorry for some reason I thought you were a she 😀😉 it is that bad on the BA forum lately you may as well close it because generally the only nice thread you come across is the j and F deals thread people looking for a bargain everything else is moaning or slagging BA and stating how bad they are and I am off to another FFP bla bla bla I don't even recommended FT to people I come across anymore and in the past I always did. that really is sad times for the BA forum which is a real shame as it used to be such a great place to read and have a giggle.
