I'm sure they have some kind of a "force majeure" clause in their contract for these kinds of situation. I live in FL and looked at hotel reservations for the Orlando area out of curiosity during the hurricane and I think only 3 had rooms available on the Marriott website (and I'm a Platinum Premier).
