I used my two United Club passes from a Chase Explorer cc -- one at SNA and one at LAS. Both times asked for boarding passes. Handed over my Delta boarding passes each time without a problem. SNA agent even reminded me that they don't monitor Delta flights.
Delta lounges generally want to see a boarding pass, and they don't care if it's another airline (assuming you already have the right card or Diamond status to get admitted in the first place.)
