Check out: www.rehoboth.com if you are not familiar with the town. There is useful information on hotels, dinning, etc.

I have heard that the Avenue Inn & Spa, The Bellmoor and the Boardwalk Plaza are three of the best hotels in town. I have never stayed at a hotel because I have a townhouse there so I cannot speak from personal experiences. There is a gay guest house on Spring Lake in RB but I cannot remember the name.

As for eating out the Blue Moon is very nice and a fun place to eat. I would also recommend Cloud 9 for upscale food, Dos Locos for Mexican food, Jake's for Seafood and Grotto Pizza for a quick bite.

As mentioned before, the Blue Moon is the place to go now that the Renegade is closed. The place is packed during Happy Hour in the summers and can get a little "attitudy" for my taste. Not like they are all pretty or anything...they just think they are!! Cloud 9 also has a decent scene with a dancefloor which opens up when the restaurant is getting ready to close. Last summer they opened an After Hours dance bar in the old Ames Store which provided a late night dance alternative since the Renegade closed. I assume that something similar will be around by this summer but as of now there is nothing. If you are more into the older and rougher types, stop by the Double L. The Double L is usually the place to go on Friday nights just to have a quite beer and relax. (more mixed crowd on Fridays!)

Comparing the scene or crowd in RB to P'town is difficult. We enjoy it because we have our own weekend place there. The summers are definitely more happening due to all the muscle party boys coming in from DC and Philly. We didn't like P'town because everything started so early! In addition, I found the service to be lacking in P'town at virtually every restaurant. Something that might happen to you in RB but usually not at the better places like Cloud 9 and the Blue Moon.

Hope this information is helpful!
