I'm confused Re: the phantom segment appearing or not. I have an upcoming itinerary where I applied a couple of RUCs. The phantom segments appeared initially so all looked OK. I even tweeted @Delta to make sure they were applied correctly. They said they were correct and some segments cleared immediately. @Delta said it would go through reticketing after that. Indeed, I got a new email itinerary a day or so later showing the changes.
So, now my itinerary shows the cleared segments in First, but no more phantom segments on the two legs that haven't cleared -- but now they each have the message "Upgrade Status: Upgrade Waitlisted". But, I do get the phantom seat assignment map. So, with those indicators, I still think it's accurately applied even though the phantom segments aren't showing. Does that seem right?
