To answer the question, - I can't get involved in all that deep stuff when I'm out looking for a sunny beach and some hot-looking flesh.

I don't need "What are you looking at?! " from some closeted homosexual. I don't really care to watch heterosexuals being un-self-conciously intimate with each other when, at the same time, gays and lesbians are expected to be chaste and PDA-free ("public display of affection"). It makes me absolutely angry, and anger is not why I go on vacation.

That said, there are places which are not expressly gay where I feel comfortable being myself, not like I have to keep my natural behavior in check. Likewise, there are gay destinations which are enjoyed by heterosexuals, as well - I'm fine with their presence, but only so long as they respect that gays and lesbians should be no more chaste and "respectable" during vacation than Britney Spears.

Time and a place for everything, in short.
