I brought my reluctant wife over and the two of us got a VR tour---a very short movie from a jurassic park like experience. It was enormously entertaining. I felt like I could reach out and pet the dinosaur while watching a pterodactyl vlying over head. Super cool. I would have bought 4 goggles for me, wife, 2 adult kids but only learned after the fact that they only work w/Samsung products and we are an Apple household. Pity.
The whining about this kiosk's existence is overwrought---not so much by the post I quoted but looking through the entire thread....
My objection to Apple has been it uses proprietary eqpt. & software only.
If you switch to Android Google & Facebook will be announcing VR hardware vry soon.
