You can certainly consider the ARL if you are traveling light; but the train is likely to be crowded, between commuters and the people trying to get to the airport for morning departures.
ARL will not be bad at 7AM to the airport. It is also, IME, before BTS gets into it's peak times. On the flip side traffic to the airport is also light and a quick taxi ride.
