Poor hyatt phone customer service, excellent twitter service
I had a stay on end of July and had redeemed 16k points for that and I didn't receive 10% points back for the promotion I registered before my stay even though it was more than 6 to 8 weeks based on the T&C. I called three time on 7th week,9th week and 10th week and spent a lot of time on phone just for 1600 points but each time they either said we investigate and contact you back or wait more. Even on my last call which was 10 weeks after my stay I talked with supervisor and she said nothing she can do and she can't also post it manually and I have to wait more. After that I desperately sent message on twitter about issue and in less than 2 minutes they replied me back and apologized for poor phone customer service and credited the 1600 points to my account. As a Diamond member I really hoped to be treated better than this by phone customer service. I highly recommend use Hyatt twitter for resolving issues instead of phone call
