As a Montrealer I'll give you the following advice: Both hotels are owned by the same people, therefore the ammenities and perks are more or less the same. Nelligan is slightly larger and feels a lot more spacious. Unless you are booking a duplex room at Place D'Armes I would go for Nelligan.
