Are you referring to the hard product, soft product or both?

I thought PE was effectively a nicer seat and meals included - which in my mind is effectively what today's narrowbody J is.
Currently there is no North America PE product, the cabin service is regular Y cabin service and the physical PE seat are marketed as a preferred seat.

I find the Airbus narrow-body J seats to be more comfortable than the wide-body PE seats for a few reasons.

1. Narrow-body J seat is wider and deeper.
2. Table space between seats on the narrow-body J seat is wider.
3. The headrest on the narrow-body J seat is adjustable and I find easier to adjust for better sleeping. The wide-body PE seating headrest is fixed and not very comfortable for sleeping - at least for me.
