In-flight purchases when Credit Card co requires sms authorization code

Hi everyone, hope I'm posting in the right section of the site. I've searched for "sms authorization" and couldn't find any related topics.

In a nutshell whenever I use my credit card online my bank, Bank of Cyprus (the main bank in Cyprus, a small island in the south east of the Mediterranean) sends me an sms to my phone with a verification code, the online checkout at the same time redirects my browser to the banks verification portal, i enter the sms code into the verification portal and complete the purchase. If i don't enter the code received in the sms i can't complete the online purchase.

I'm flying from Cyprus to JFK via Athens on October 17th and the 11 hour Athens-JFK leg is on a Delta flight with onboard WiFi (confirmed by the Delta helpdesk). My concern is that once we're inflight and I try to buy the wifi pass my bank is going to send me the verification sms and obviously I'm not going to receive it since we're in flight. Anyone have any experience with this? Wondering how i can overcome this problem.

My one alternative was to purchase the gogo Delta 24 Hour Wi-fi pass but it seems to be for domestic flights only (waiting for them to confirm that by email).

As you can imagine having wifi on an 11 hour flight is going to make a huge difference in my flying experience..

Thanks in advance,
Denis
