There are regular reports that the BAEC will allow a two week 'grace period' after the expiry for the accumulation of tier points to retain status, if that might be useful for you?

I know people who have called the BAEC and obtained this agreement. I think you need to call them again after completing the flights to make sure that status is maintained.
