Using internet in public wifi
I will be traveling soon and will be using a lot of public wifis, mainly to check and respond to emails.

Is there a best practice to be aware of? I will be using a Macbook Air with the standard Mail app. Is this the best way to ensure no one can see my emails or get into my laptop? Is Windows safer?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
