BA are showing zero availability to anywhere close during this period, closest i could get was Tokyo but there we no connecting flights to Australia.

All the posts above give the stark reality. For those dates from UK to Aus airlines will be expecting to sell for cash money 100% (and more) of seats available. Your dates are a slow time for paid business class travel by companies, so will mainly be leisure travellers.
Getting 4 premium award seats on the same aircraft at any time is difficult, tending more to impossible. And at Christmas - New Years - urggh!!! Split you party into 2 & 2 or 2 & 1 & 1 and look for different days/routes to/from different cities in UK/EU and Australia.
BA does not fly to MEL, so no 2 for 1. BA flys LHR-SIN-SYD.
You may have better luck getting 1 premium seat from an airport other than LHR like LGW, MAN, GLA or ?? to SYD, MEL, ADL or BNE.
Other BA partner oneworld airline's to Australia are Qantas QF, Cathay CX, Qatar QR and Japan JL from UK flying over the middle east/Asia
Or you could try BA awards to anywhere in Asia and then a paid cash fares Asia - Australia. MEL has less international airlines than SYD. Au domestic air fares can be OK for pricing.
