Welcome to Star Alliance in 1999
Ansett (Australia) and Air New Zealand will join Star Alliance (AC, LH, RG, SK, TG, UA) in 1999.

If you have some Know-how of Air New Zealand's frequent flyer program/ rules/ lounges, etc. please tell us (us=Frequent Flyers with Star Alliance) here - thank you.

-How many miles does Air New Zealand credit for eco (50% or 100%)?
-Lounge-program?
-general/specific strenghts and weaknesses
