I've flown DXB-LHR recently and wasn't blown away with the F service. Was an overnight flight but I've found the crew on the upper deck have been consistently better than the ones I experienced in F that trip. Could have been a number of factors so wouldn't get hung up on one segment that wasn't great but not in a rush to do that again.
CCR type room 'the bar' was a little oasis of calm in the DXB lounge though - nice thumbs up for that one^
