Glitch?
I've used the same day change many times but got a glitch the other day: was booked on a flight I wanted to change at 8pm and wanted to move to the 1pm. At midnight, no space on the 1pm so I changed to the 11am which was better than nothing. No issue. I still didn't check in in case.
Checking when I woke up around 5, the 1pm had a seat opening but when I went to change, BA.com was asking for £60 change fee+fare difference! Called GGL, was told it's only one free change, said I didn't think that was correct, was told it was but agent made change for me anyway. I'll admit this left me quite confused as I still don't remember any indication same day changes are limited. Did I miss something?
