There was a report a few months back that if you transferred to (example) your AU's UA account that you could not transfer to your own UA account in the same year.

In sciconf's example we know that the software did not permit the transfer, and that customer service had an explanation. It could be that the software is misconfigured and customer service has "invented" a policy to explain it, or it could be that this is really Chase's policy to discourage household's feeding a single fee-paid card.

If it is policy it should be documented somewhere. I do not have an Ink Plus card to look.
