Any suggestions as to whether Hammersmith or Barons Court would be a good choice? I expect we will be somewhere at the start of the rush hour by then too.
Thanks!
LCY > DLR > Canning Town > Jubilee Line > Westminster > District Line > Barons Court > Piccadilly Line > LHR is by far the best route. Don't listen to people trying to send you via the Heathrow Express. It's a complete waste of money unless you're travelling to / from Paddington and in a massive hurry, and will save you no more than 5 minutes all being well. The Jubilee Line is absolutely rammed at peak times, but the critical section is Canary Wharf to Waterloo. So you'll be on before the crowds and off after the majority of them. The District will be busy from Westminster but it's mostly new S Stock trains now with air conditioning and more space. Then it's a cross-platform change for the Picc.
