I've thought about the Grayl Ultralight, which weighs 10.9 Oz and requires a flat surface to push on.

Katadyn BeFree weighs 2.3 oz and also fits the threading for HydraPak Seeker 1L, 2L, 3L

No filter for taste (vs the Ultralight), filters for Protozoa and Bacteria. It is high flow compared to the Sawyer Mini.

I usually don't need to overlap safe water filter with good tasting filter but can see how some would. 8 oz is approximately a sweater, thermos, kindle, or backup battery. I can do a lot with that weight, especially if I'm toting it about in my day bag. I'd rather process the water in room and put it in a lightweight bottle when going out. The water itself- 16 oz is ~ 1 lb.
