I do not buy into this story at all, I think it is pointless rant.
  1. TG465 was supposed to be operated by A350 by this time, but as we all know, it is not happening for some time...
  2. Originally, TG465 was operated by 772/773 with old non-fully horizontal seats...
  3. Now it is operated by 747 and there are mixed reports about utilisation of F cabin...
Your flight was at the period when no one really knows what aircraft will be used, so I do not know how can you claim you booked specifically 773 with lie flat beds... Perhaps misunderstanding? There are two types of lie flat beds - one that is fully horizontal, AFAIK, was not on TG465 (I was on it few months ago) and "slanted" lie flat beds (used when I was on it few months ago)...

So honestly, you got what you paid for...
