One reason that I tend to book HGIs is product consistency. Imagine my surprise when, upon checking in yesterday afternoon (Sunday, October 2), I was told that there was no room service (or any option for prepared food), despite this verbiage on the web site:
Evening Room Service and On Site Catering
Our convenient Room Service menu is available between 5:00pm and 9:00pm nightly.
I guess they are technically correct...the menu was available in the room between 5 and 9...as well as before and after
It was just the food that wasn't.
Making matters worse, food options in that part of downtown are very limited on a Sunday night.
Beware if you're considering staying at that particular hotel on a Sunday night.
