Introduction At check-in, I was welcomed as a Diamond member. We handed over our passports for registration (as is the standard practice at Russian hotels) and they were returned to us around 5 minutes later.I was informed that, as a Hilton HHonors member, I could take a drink and a snack free of charge from the ground floor bar (even though I selected 250 Hilton HHonors points as my 'My Way' preference at Hampton by Hilton hotels). I was told that the hotel offers a free drink and snack from the bar to all guests who are Hilton HHonors members (including those who are Blue members).The front desk associate also proactively offered complimentary 8pm (!) late check-out. We were going to leave at 8am, so we politely declined. Room We booked a standard twin room. We were allocated a very spacious room (room number 501) which, as you can tell from the floor plan, was much bigger than other rooms.The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable.View from the room:Wifi speed was good. Breakfast As is the norm at all Hampton by Hilton hotels, breakfast is free of charge for all guests.The self-service buffet had a good selection of cooked and continental breakfast options.Service was friendly. Location The hotel is very conveniently located just 3 minutes by foot from Samara railway station (the terminus of the Aeroexpress train to/from Samara airport).The hotel is also within close walking distance of the Leningradskaya pedestrian walking street and the Volga river embankment (around 15-20 minutes' walk away). Overall Overall, our stay at Hampton by Hilton Samara exceeded our expectations. There was excellent Diamond membership recognition. Staff were friendly and always very willing to help. I would recommend this hotel.
