I'll echo the sentiments above. When has NZ made this possible?
In fact, tinkering around with my bookings right now, there are absolutely NO options to pay with Airpoints Dollars when adding extra bags, changing product types (Seat -> Seat+Bag), or changing booking (changing to an earlier/later flight).
I have done these types of changes often enough this year, and if there was an option to burn APD, definitely would have!
Is this some sort of hidden setting or something? Or have I been THAT blind on the page?
Please post screenshots and highlight relevant options to enlighten those of us please!
